Puspakom has announced the temporary suspension of the refund function on its GiCheck mobile app, which was launched earlier this month. The suspension will be from today (February 23) till March 8, and will be reinstated on 12.01 am on March 9.
The vehicle inspection company says that during this period, one will not be able to submit refund requests on the GiCheck app and requests can be made once the system is back online.
Note that the refund eligibility period is one month from the inspection date. If this period overlaps with the system downtime, the remaining days will be carried forward once the system is operational again.
For example, if one’s inspection date is January 28, the original refund eligibility period will be until February 28. But since the GiCheck system downtime starts on February 23, the six ‘lost days’ will be carried forward, which means that the new deadline is March 5.
