We now have official pricing for the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio, both of which marked the Italian brand’s return to Malaysia (again) in November last year. The sedan and SUV are offered in a sole Veloce variant and come fully imported (CBU) from Italy, with the first batch of cars expected to arrive sometime near the end of this month or early in the next.
If you’re interested in the Giulia Veloce, the asking price is RM440,077.50 on-the-road without insurance, while the Stelvio Veloce retails for RM480,128. These figures are well above the initial estimate of RM400k announced for both models when order taking started during the brand’s relaunch.
For the money, you’re getting Italian styling and an engine that offers relatively impressive performance. In Veloce guise, the Giulia and Stelvio share a 2.0 litre turbocharged inline-four petrol unit that serves up 280 PS (276 hp or 206 kW) at 5,250 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 2,250 rpm.
In the Giulia sedan, the Multiair engine is paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels to enable a 0-100 km/h time of 5.7 seconds and top speed of 240 km/h. As for the Stelvio, it gets the same engine-transmission combination, but the SUV is with Alfa’s Q4 all-wheel drive system – same century sprint time but top speed is down to 230 km/h.
Telephone-dial alloy wheels, a staple of Alfas, are present on both models, with the Giulia getting 19-inch units while the Stelvio gets a larger 20-inch set. Other items in the kit list include shift paddles, a Harman Kardon audio system, a wireless charging pad, an 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Level 2 ADAS (ACC, lane keep assist) and sport leather seats.

Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.

better buy merc GLA/CLA.
Ok please start commenting those who wouldn’t ever be able to buy nor able to maintain this car but yet find the need to comment… Lettssss gooooo
That’s what comments are for
Yes. Those that know nothing about the Giorgio platform, the proven reliability of the Veloce models, and the bits that will never come again in another car (lots of analog tactile controls on the interior.. the dual-pivot virtual-axis front end.. the quick and responsive steering rack.. etc) will definitely be commenting ignorantly about “Alfa reliability”, “better get (insert inferior German car here)” and other such inane remarks.
Those people are the ones struggling with RON95 petrol prices every month but will comment about how this super-sedan is not worth buying.
people comment from experience la. owners be prepared to spend lots of time hunting for second hand parts at chopshop (kedai potong) specializing in importing Conti parts
Used to have a 146 and a fiat Punto speedgear. They were really unique and fun to drive but not easy to maintain here.
Hahahahahaha
hahaha…..for the renown Alfa reliability, u must be kidding? any promises for a courtesy car if our car is stuck in workshop???? what are they smokin..!!
You just woke up from coma? 2025/2026 Alfa Romeo reliability on par with Porsche
Well porsche reliability aint that great either. In fact any german marques reliability is only great during 1st 3 years, after that, it’s downhill. Maintenance wise is money pit.
porsche relaibility is very good ? how about benchmarking against toyota?
Stupid. Come benchmarks my ride
Big yikes, lol.
Who tf is gonna pay over RM440k for a car in which its true value is only around RM200k?
RM200k….hahaha a BYD seal performance at RM180k can run circle around this ah fatt and more reliable. Alfa with reliability….i think pig can fly.
What a pointless introduction and low competancy feasibility study..buzz off AR..you are not relevant anymore
You dont buy an alfa romeo for the reliability and quality. You buy it for a few things which are the looks, the drive, the charm, and the status.
You buy alfa cos u like to spend your saturday and annual leave at mechanic workshops. You pity your mechanic family and try to uplift them from poverty and sponsor their family and kids to europe vacation and better education in famous U.
sadly this is true story , as workshop boss who specialize in VW or peugeot , the boss driving merc, while his poor customers driving junks VW peugeot citroen
Why bother to bring it here? The brand is dead and the price tag can probably make it to guineas record for something most laughable
M340i, C43 or this?
Nice cars but there are just too many options at this price point. These will be extreme rare sights on our roads at these prices.
this car suppose to be competing against 3 series and c class. this costs 100k+ more aint no way.
Only diehard fans of this brand will pay this kind of money.
To pricy. Their pricing strategy will fail. Alfa will close shop once again.
It is cheap as its same level as Porsche.
