MINI Yours Customised – making it truly personal

MINI Yours Customised – making it truly personal

MINI is offering its customers more options to customise their vehicles with its new MINI Yours Customised service, which will become available next year in Europe and other large markets.

The programme allows buyers to select, design and order selected parts via a new online shop, which will then be created by using 3D printing and laser lettering. Among the parts in the range include indicator inlays (known as side scuttles), trims for the passenger side in the interior, LED door sills and LED door projectors.

For instance, if you want your name on the side scuttles, you simply need to submit the design online, choose from a number of colours (Aspen White, Chili Red, Jet Black, Melting Silver or White Silver), and choose the font type and you’re done. You can even have different designs for the left and right side of the vehicle if you desire, plus they are easily swapped out as well.

This method applies to the interior trim and LED door sills too, although the latter comes in either a brushed or black aluminium base only. As for the LED door projectors, custom designs (unique patterns or even the owner’s signature) can be submitted, along with a choice of colours for the projection – Chili Red, Starlight Blue and Black combined with White.

These parts can be fitted on nearly all current-generation MINI models, and can also be retrofitted provided said vehicle comes with an appropriate base.
