Mazda BT-50 gets RM6,800 Sports Package in M’sia

Mazda Malaysia has introduced a new optional accessories package for the BT-50 pick-up truck, which it calls the Sport Package, priced at RM6,800.

The Sports Package comes with front and rear fender guards finished in gloss black (RM2,500), new door visors (RM250), rear sports bar with a top lid cover (RM4,500). Purchasing these items individually is available as well, but as you can tell, it is a lot costlier.

These accessories are available for all variants of the BT-50 – 2.2MT Mid-Spec, 2.2MT High-Spec, 2.2AT and 3.2AT – with the first two being recently-added variants that weren’t present when the facelifted BT-50 was launched in March last year.

Currently, the 2.2MT Mid-Spec is priced at RM90,477.70, and the 2.2MT High-Spec is RM100,657.70. It also appears the 2.2AT and 3.2AT have received a bump in price to RM105,657.70 and RM117,016.10, respectively (all prices are on-the-road without insurance). Each purchase includes a three-year/100,000 km warranty.

  • “Sport” Package….. Right….. Adding all these accessories can boost more hp. I wish this was real. Wake up Mazda. Don’t follow whatever UMW is doing on their product range.

The photos shows color matching fender guards, but the text says gloss black. How come?
