In conjunction with new year celebrations in the city, the operating hours for the LRT, MRT, RapidKL buses and KL Monorail have extended. The extended operating hours take effect this Saturday, December 31.
LRT stations open till 2am are Masjid Jamek and KLCC, which service the Kelana Jaya line. The Masjid Jamek station will also remain open to service the Ampang and Sri Petaling lines.
For KL Monorail, the Bukit Nenas station will operate till 2am while the Hang Tuah station will stay open till 12.30am RapidKL bus services will be extended to 2.30am for certain routes.
“Services on the MRT for the Sungai Buloh – Kajang line, Mutiara Damansara and Bandar Utama stations will also operate till 2am,” said Lim Jin Aun, head of communications and strategic marketing for the Prasarana group, in a Bernama report.
