These latest batch of spyshots from our European photographers are focusing on the upcoming W213 Mercedes-Benz E-Class prototype that have been going around testing.
Compared to the earlier spyshots, there is a bit less tape covering the crease lines on the side of the body revealing the dark grey colour of the “sport grille” unit.
Basically, the hood, roof and boot have shed some tape revealing the body colour, while the rear windows are now sporting darker tint. We can also see the side skirting with less tape too.
There is not much guesswork needed in terms of highlighting the headlamp and tail lamp of the new E-Class as it already has been revealed.
As we reported earlier, renderings of this particular model will definitely be in the pipeline and we can look forward to some interesting speculative images soon. Unlike our earlier story which had an interior shot, this set does not have that.
Nonetheless, just to recap, the E-Class interior is inspired by the W222 S-Class, and the E-Class only has one large COMAND display as the instrument cluster has physical dials instead of the digital cluster. It should also be noted that the clock has been moved lower below the climate control panel; and the panel itself seems to have come from the C-Class.
Mercedes-Benz has already previewed this interior inside the Concept IAA that debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show this week, so you might want to check that out.
