Ford Kuga Titanium+ – higher-spec arrives in 2014

Ford Kuga Titanium+ KLIMS 4

More from the Ford stand at KLIMS13. The more astute observer will notice that the Ford Kuga Titanium+ on display at the show is a bit different to the Titanium version in the market right now – in essence, the Titanium+ adds on equipment to bring it up to level’s trim as seen on Australian examples, and is set to be introduced in Malaysia next year.

The Oz Titanium variant wears 19-inch wheels and 235/45 tyres, as well as full leather seats, and these will make their way on to the Titanium+ (the current variant is shod with 17-inch nine double-spoke alloys, wrapped with 235/55 rubbers, and fabric/leather combination seats, following an Australian Trend level specification).

The Titanium+ will also add an openable Panorama roof and add elements from the Technology Pack like Active Park Assist. It will also feature Adaptive Cruise Control with Adjustable Speed Limiting Device (ASLD) and a Collision Mitigation System.

Otherwise, the SUV will be that as seen now – the 1.6 litre EcoBoost turbocharged direct-injection engine’s 180 PS at 5,700 rpm and 240 Nm at 1,600 rpm to 5,000 rpm carries on unchanged. No word on pricing for the higher-spec variant as yet. Read our review of the Ford Kuga here.

I agree about the rv of Ford’s vehicle. Every single car from Ford, Mazda, Kimchi and some other car manufacturer have low rv. But to compare it with a piece of junk pickup from Toyota I guess better buy other brand.

      Well-loved. Thumb up 54 Thumb down 4

  • pls, the 1.6 ecoboost does no justice to the heavy Kuga. drop in the 2.0 ecoboost and you’ll get a sweet surge that gives you driving orgasms over and over again.

the extras you introduce for this titanium+ cannot satisfy an avid driver.

pls, while we are at it, pls have better tastes for girls the next time.

American version has a nicer interior with the big screen i.e. navi and reverse camera. However, it is call Ford Escape.

Ford Kuga is for European and Asia market and lower specs as compared to Ford Escape…

Sad that they are not the same across worldwide :(

I like the exterior design. The seat sizes is kind of small though..Also the interior, look and feel cheap.

  • I’ve spoken to one of the ford sales exec and he said reverse cam + navi can be added at an extra cost, together with full leather seat. Plus, the titanium+ will use a 2.0 engine.

I am interested in Kuga Titanium. When is it available in Malaysia. I am eeven more interested, if it’s a diesel 2.0. I cancelled my booking for the Santa Fei, that comes only with 2 air bags.
