No new model launch at the Thai Motor Expo for Mazda, but our eyes were drawn to the bling on this Mazda BT-50 “Thrilling 50” Concept.
This black Mazda truck wears shiny 22-inch wheels and a new front bumper featuring bigger fog lamp cutouts and LED DRLs. Blacked out tail lamps and a sports bar set complete the rapper look. Not many changes but a big change in outlook, showing what’s possible with the BT-50.
Mazda’s one-tonne pick-up player made a quiet entry into Malaysia a couple of months ago. Like the Ford Ranger, buyers can choose from a 2.2 litre common rail diesel (150 PS, 375 Nm) and a 3.2L five-cylinder diesel with 200 PS and 470 Nm. Prices range from RM89,841.60 to RM107,051.75.
