Honda Brio 1.3L with Modulo bodykit in Indonesia

Honda Brio 1.3L with Modulo bodykit in Indonesia

The Honda Brio mini car has been launched in Indonesia, and here’s how it looks like with a Modulo bodykit. The package includes fog lamps, a different grille, front and rear bumper extensions and side skirts. We can also see a flashy fuel cap insert. The rear spoiler is standard across the range, though.

The Modulo parts can be bought individually or as a Rp 16 million (RM5,241) package, with warranty. We don’t have pics of it, but Honda is also offering body stripes ala Fiesta XTR for the Brio. They can be bought and installed at official dealers for Rp 1.5 million (RM491) and are guaranteed against fade for two years.

Honda Brio 1.3L with Modulo bodykit in Indonesia

The Brio sold in Indonesia is powered by a 1,339 cc four-cylinder engine, as opposed to the Thai Ecocar spec Brio with a 1.2L engine. The former makes 100 PS and 127 Nm of torque from 4,800 rpm, compared to the 1.2L’s 90 PS/110 Nm. The Brio can be had with either a good ol’ five-speed manual or a CVT.

In Indonesia, the Brio starts from Rp 149 million (RM48,756) for the S Manual to Rp 170 million (RM55,603) for the E Automatic.

RM55k is actually not cheap, but it should be a good fight with P2. Let’s do that in this fair M’sia.

City E Spec Indonesia more expensive than Malaysian price. So this car should be around RM45k to RM54k for sure.
