Description: In 1918 London, Kate Gallaway (Julianne Nicholson) and dancer Billie Cassidy (Umi Myers) start a nightclub in SoHo. While Violet Davies (Eliza Scanlen) becomes one of the first female officers to join the Metropolitan Police in the series inspired by Marek Kohn's nonfiction book Dope Girls: The Birth of the British Drug Underground.
