It is silly, shoddy and features far too much of rapper-turned-leading man Ice Cube staring at a computer screen while looking as if he’s working through a reasonably urgent digestive ailment. Like a heat-ray in reverse, it leeches all the fun out of what should be an epic tale of alien invasion.

I'm glad i didn't know anything about it and watched it because i lt popped out as new. I was gripped ok my seat 3/4 of the movie. It’s like clover field meets war of the world, but much better. I say don’t miss out in it because of the reviews, or you’ll miss out.

This was honestly a pretty decent movie. the CGI was pretty terrible but other than that it was a really unique experience. the camera is often shaky, but it pulls me in since it feels like a real event being recorded however it may be annoying for the viewers. I can't say whether it is a good adaptation from the book since I have never read the book.

No one would have believed an adaptation War of the worlds could be done this **** a huge fan of the original book and Jeff Wayne musical adaptation So I may be bias here. Unique take executed poorly. The plot had more holes than a sieve. Acting mediocre. Tripods looked kinda cool but their is no excuse for special effects being as bad as they were in places. Good cheesy bad b movie if you want a laugh but other than that avoid

This was an absolute disaster of a movie. From the first scene, it felt cheap, awkward, and painfully unrealistic. The story was nonsensical, the protagonist made bizarre decisions that had no connection to real human behavior, and the "acting" (if you can call it that) felt like a school project gone wrong.There were no real actors to carry the film, and the low-budget feel was made worse by constant, cringe-worthy Amazon product placements shoved in your face at every turn. It was so bad, it almost felt like a parody — except it wasn’t funny.Avoid this one. Very, VERY bad

I've seen Battlefield: Earth and I would recommend it over this pseudo-techno dreck any day of the week and twice on Sundays. This is just a Teams meeting with well known actors instead of the people you'd rather just really not see appear on your monitor. Just awful. Boring and awful.
