Few games will ever meet the high expectations Breath of the Wild has set. The Switch 2 version is the best way to play an unforgettable title with better visuals and some neat new features.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is still a phenomenal game, and it's now best played on the Nintendo Switch 2, with improved loading times, higher-resolution graphics, and that silky-smooth frame rate. Zelda Notes is entirely optional if you want to ignore it — and hopefully that sort of addition isn’t the main reason upgrades cost more (or anything).

I think most zelda games just don’t appeal to me. I’m not a big fan of the open world I think it makes the areas feel empty and lacking in content. I like the combat and the visuals but I never got hooked like most people did.

Yes, we dare to go for 20 (100)! The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is quite simply a unique experience that truly reaffirms the term "adventure game." Never has a game offered the player such a sense of freedom, constantly renewing the experience. The environments are magnificent, the dungeons are ingenious, and you can't help but enjoy the journey! There's no doubt about it: it's already a must-play, and the hours of gameplay that await you in a gigantic world full of content will remain in your memories for life!
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will go down as one of the best launch titles of all time. Yes, technically it's a Wii U game that was ported over to the Nintendo Switch, but Nintendo made the right decision in holding this game back. It perfectly compliments the Nintendo Switch and highlights why it has the potential to be such a great and versatile console. Many have doubted Nintendo's ability to bring this series into the modern age of gaming, but they've done that and taken it one step further in creating one of the best open-world action-adventure games ever made.
An already amazing game made even better, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is superb in this upgraded format. Technically much more sound and with fun little extras, this is the definitive edition and a killer addition to the Switch 2 library. It's a shame that, ultimately, Zelda Notes is separate from the game, but it does add some great extra content for those willing to download and sync up.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is undoubtedly the best way to play one of the greatest games of all time. The visual and performance enhancements remove any issues that you may have had to endure with the original game. It's practically flawless from that perspective. Sadly, the Zelda Notes app really brings the whole thing down. Useful features that should have been implemented in-game have been relegated to your smartphone, and using it completely breaks immersion in this incredible world. I'm only thankful that it's not even remotely mandatory. Leave Zelda Notes to one side, and you've got the definitive presentation of a modern classic.

Jamais je n'aurais pensé faire ça... Mais là Nintendo abuse clairement. Ce jeu est évidemment un monument c'est indéniable et doit être fait, mais de 1, ce n'est pas une nouvelle sortie donc jeu de l'année (??? Lui ou sa sequel, même raisonnement), et 2 s'en servir comme arme commerciale pour sa nouvelle console à des tarifs prohibitifs (si non upgrade Switch 1) pour une "remise à niveau" vraiment pas nécessaire, c'est juste non, même pas le mérite d'une prise de risque de la refonte d'un vieil épisode ou d'un nouvel opus.
Qu'on propose un remake, et je dis bien "un remake", d'un jeu phare parce que lors de sa création, tout était limité par la puissance du support, je veux bien (DA graphique, musique, 4 CD pour contenir la totalité de l'histoire), et je suis partisan de redorer tout un tas de licence de l'ère 8 et 16 bits voir début 3D qui le méritent particulièrement, mais là c'est vraiment histoire de dire : on va vous le coller pour vous faire acheter la machine, et on se fout pas de vous on a fait une optimisation au rabais... Ne vous y trompez pas, je vomis cette politique, même pour un Last of Us.
C'est le début de la fin s'ils commencent à pourrir leurs titres et licences phares dans ce but en forçant comme ça, un peu de créativité bon sang, ils ont largement la puissance financière pour... Et je ne félicite vraiment pas la presse vidéoludique pour être incapable de prendre ce recul en y mettant rien de moins que la note maximale pour un reroll à peine rechauffé, ça encourage tous ceux qui voudraient se mettre à la création à faire dans la grosse flemme pour peu que vous ayez une recette qui tienne la route. Vous êtes complice d'un comportement médiocre qui enterre cet art, bravo !
