It Takes Two is a fun cooperative game on the PlayStation that is filled with consistent surprises and delights, offering a unique and unforgettable experience. Whether you’re playing with a significant other, a friend or a family member, It Takes Two is an essential title for any PS5 owner who is looking for a cooperative challenge and from an incredible moving perspective from a story point of view that can easily be knocked over in a few binge gaming sessions.
It Takes Two is an amazing game that keeps players on their toes with its impeccable pacing in both story and gameplay. This 3D platformer mixes genres every step of the way in a magical ride through different locals. At the center, though, is a great love story full of heartwarming moments and plenty of laughs to boot.
It Takes Two is a beautiful and exciting co-op experience, that can potentially mean so much more for those who relate to this premise. Working together is not always the issue in a relationship, sometimes you just don’t get along. Across all the jumps, boss battles, and deadly puzzles, we get to witness this couple’s journey. From this, we also learn a few pointers on teamwork and having a ton of fun along the way.
It Takes Two is endlessly creative. Gameplay speaks to narrative, while narrative informs gameplay, and the entire experience just feels incredibly polished and detailed. It nails relationships in ways that so many games—and even other forms of media—just can’t. It asks the player to engage with the the story through mandatory co-op to tell the tale of a couple on the verge of divorce, rediscovering the good in their relationship. It’s not just one of the best action platformers in recent memory, but also a fantastic and unique story representing a dynamic that you don’t often see represented in games, at least not to this depth and nuance.
A joyful, colourful, and hugely inventive cavalcade of co-op antics that makes superb use of having two players for both its unique challenges and unscripted hijinks.
I adore A Way Out, so I had really high expectations for Hazelight’s new game. Instead of sticking to the proven, perfect formula of AWO, the developers decided to give us more of everything and as a result overdid it in many respects. The levels are too long and there are too many minigames, while the story can’t keep up. It seemed to me the narrative is just a pretext to introduce as many different gameplay mechanics as possible, and as a result the relationship between the protagonists is implausible. Absolute fun, there are many cool ideas in this game, every chapter has its own idea and way to play, there are only two problems, first, it's something very easy, there's no challenge, socend, it's a bit too long more than co-op game.
the plot will be pulled but if you wanna relax and laugh with your bro or gf (dont care) then this is just right main characters is very funny namely cody he is main reason why i love this game
It Takes Two is a great game, mechanically. The levels are very creative and Toy Story-esque, with great puzzles and use of co-op, though the later levels start to rapidly diminish in quality. As such, the game starts to drag, ultimately fizzling out. There is a lot of great gameplay to make up for this, though.
The Nintendo Switch version of the game runs terribly, and I would never recommend it to anyone. I understand the limitations of the console, but this is an embarrassing port and should not have been released. The graphics are just terrible, with constant visual glitches and pop-in; sometimes textures simply not loading in at all.
Performance wise, it rarely hits a solid 30 FPS and frequently chugs in the low 20s. There are a handful of moments where the framerate makes the game unplayable, and one or two moments where the game freezes up altogether. A poor show, altogether. Buyer beware.
Decent fun for two players. If you dont mind story on level of Hollywood movie (which is not a compliment), annoying woman behaving like a man and sissy man behaving like a woman. And terrible book. And logical mistakes that just make you roll your eyes (if you pay them any attention). On the bright side, my girlfriend had fun, liked the models (anything cute gets her).
