Even without, the game is a beautiful experience that momentarily allows the player to escape from the noise of their everyday life. Its end is brilliantly simple, yet poetic and powerful all the same. You can choose to search for the meaning in every crevice, or simply enjoy the climb. Either way, this is one adventure we recommend you embark on — there’s lots to uncover in the world Jusant offers.
Jusant from developer Don’t Nod is a wonderful example of balancing well-crafted gameplay mechanics to perfectly matched puzzles to use them on.

Classic story/platformer indy game from a dev that isn't necessarily an indy company fully. story pacing is great, protagonist and company is silent but interesting to a point, and the story unfolds without anything being said. Game is simple and story focused nothing to critique.

Jusant is a wonderful, meditative puzzle adventure framed around climbing that effectively draws you into its mysterious world. With creative level designs that make the most of the vertical tower setting, the climbing mechanics are fun and intuitive, and the pacing keeps its feeling too repetitive overall.
Jusant is a wonderful gaming experience with an almost meditative flow, supported by an atmospheric soundtrack and almost perfectly balanced game mechanics. Unfortunately, it's already over after about five hours. In the end, however, you are left with a strong message and the great feeling of having achieved something.
Jusant gets the most it can out of a simple formula. It tells a memorable tale, one that goes to some unexpected places by the final chapter. The game uses a central gameplay mechanic that anybody can grasp. Plus, it's beautiful to behold, taking that idea of climbing a picturesque tower and using it to craft some awe-inspiring landscapes...The climb to the top of Jusant isn't a long one, but it makes the most of every moment. If this is an example of what happens when Don't Nod decides to get experimental, I can't wait to see how much bolder the team can go.
Jusant is a gorgeous and relaxing puzzler with well-design climbing mechanics that evolve over the course of a very tight five-hour runtime.
I have no doubt that some people are absolutely going to love Jusant – but it’s definitely not for me. If you’re a fan of climbing, you’ll find plenty to love here, but I found it all too frustrating to ever get lost in the game.

Je suis indyk. Jakich wiele, bo to kolejna wariacja na temat brnięcia przed siebie i poznawania wykreowanego świata na podstawie odnajdowanych strzępków informacji w postaci tekstowych notatek, ponieważ nie było budżetu na bogatsze zaprezentowanie fabuły. Tutaj twistem jest to, że poruszamy się przede wszystkim do góry, wspinając się, co wyszło to całkiem dobrze i przyjemnie pod względem mechanicznym.
Jest to krótka gra na około 6 godzin. Dobra jako przerywnik pomiędzy większymi produkcjami, jeśli tylko trafi się w promocji lub w ramach subskrybcji.

Boring. Its just climbing ladders - the stuff you normally do in games to get to the interesting parts. Its so dull, who thought this was a good idea?? The walking around camera is very janky
