Wiring!!???? Please some help me out.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I need a wiring diagram four, the ignition, 2005 dodge
ram 1500 4.7 Big Horn. I removed a remote start that
was causing issues. I have an interior ground wire that
is still connected to the dash. But I don't know where it
goes. A couple plugins that I can't find where they plug
in at and how my cluster isn't receiving there signals
for the fuel level or coolant temperature. I've got a
questionable wire that's been twisted together.
Between the coolant temp and another sensor below
it. My truck will not run worth a d*** if I can get it to do
more than crank. I can't drive it at all if I get it
running.Because as soon as I touch the gas, it stalls
out and it always reads a full tank and that the the
truck is running hot.

Sounds like you need factory wiring diagrams, aftermarket diagrams are not going to get you where you need to go. Try EBay for FACTORY shop manuals(not cheap). If you get one it should have connector locations, grounding points, color coded wiring diagrams. I believe that this is the only way you are going to find the problem yourself. The only other option I see is getting a subscription to ALL DATA or Mitchell Manuals. Still not cheap but you then have a subscription for as long as you want to keep it.

The fuel gauge reading full is a power wire problem. Most likely it's disconnected. The temperature gauge reading hot is a ground wire problem. The ground wire is touching something metal that it shouldn't be. Jim
