Laser Lens
Laser Lensing of Optical fiber
The laser lensing tools offers unparalleled performance in the production of lensed optical fiber. Processing of PM, SM and MM fiber is fast, accruate and reliable, with processing times at a fraction of that required for grind and polish, and first-pass yield at 99.9%

Conical
Conical or circularly symmetric lenses are accurately centered on the fiber and formed in as little as 10 seconds. This effieicent non-contact process produces lenses with exceptional performance and an optical quality surface.

Wedge
Wedge, chisel or cylindrical lenses are processed using active alignment to the fiber core, by on-line monitoring of the lenses far-field, to ensure maximum coupling performance.

Bi-Conic
Bi-conic lenses have a different radius of curvature in two orthogonal axes, which are produced through sophisticated control of the laser process. The lens is actively aligned to the fiber core and can be aligned to the stress rods of a PM fiber
