Via Variety, the new series will exist "in parallel" to the existing Alien cannon, prompting speculation that the show will ignore Ridley Scott's prequel films, Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. In other news, Brütal Legend devs honored rocker Ozzy Osbourne by making the game free for exactly 666 minutes. Osbourne died earlier this week, weeks after performing his farewell concert. Osbourne also appears in Brütal Legend as the Guardian of Metal. 3 months - Fans of the Alien and Predator franchises have a lot to look forward to in 2025: the live-action Predator: Badlands, the animated Predator: Killer of Killers, and the FX show Alien: Earth. Although these projects are not officially connected yet, fans know that Alien and Predator have a long history as part of a shared universe. So the question has to be asked: Might we see AVP return to the big screen sooner rather than later?
