 Not done for now. That linked discussion seems to indicate that this isn't something that'd get you past the current hurdle you're facing. There's an indication that you'd need override-antispoof on Meta instead of enwiki, so the avenues there would be to request override-antispoof be added to a local group on Meta, or apply for one of the existing groups on Meta which has override-antispoof (admin or bureaucrat). If that discussion ends with consensus that getting account creator on enwiki would help then I'm not fully opposed to it, but my current reading of the consensus is that it wouldn't help. stwalkerster (talk) 01:18, 31 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The discussion on metawiki suggests that override spoof has nothing to do with the issue you ran in to. If there is something we missed there, please re-open the discussion and provide more details so we can open a bug track if needed. — xaosflux ^Talk 13:38, 31 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
