Peugeot 308 Press Images Leaked

We previously saw a glimpse of the upcoming Peugeot 308 when someone manage to snap photos of it while it was out on an advertisement shoot. Here, we get to see full images of the front, rear, as well as the interior, thanks to some leaked product photos that got out to the internet.

The base model will get a 1.6 litre normally aspirated inline-4 engine, the same one as found in the R56 MINI Cooper. 308SW stationwagon and 308CC coupe convertible versions are expected to be added to the model range later.

More photos after the jump.

Errr… is kinda slick, the meters look a bit like mini cooper round meter… like the wide sun roof.. I think the body length and weight must be almost the same with mini cooper.. Alternative for cooper? Turbo anyone? If got turbo maybe it will sell more…

The front portion of the car starting from the fender to the bumper is nearly as long as the entire back portion from the front doors!!

It looks good but i think they need to shrink the front fascia a little. Its way too big.

I liked the front, resembles mean and dangerous character.

    But the interior is so…..GREY!

My overall thought of the car is, I believe, they have elongated the car but will have to wait for the official specs for A-B comparison. If indeed it is true, therefore there will be more leg room. I liked the current spec, now longer (?) better.

They took the nose of a F1 like the SLR and placed it on the car? I am not sure if its beautiful or ugly

I must admit that my ticker missed a beat when I saw the aggressive front design but the rear – what a let-down! An incomplete, half-hearted effort overall. Also, you'd think that an European marque like Peugeot should be offering steering-mounted controls by 2008. C'mon! It's the 21st century!! Even Hyundai and Kia are quick to oblige when it comes to keeping our thumbs happy, and in the process, making their cars look a million dollars more than they are actually worth.
