Syncfusion Celebrates Employee Excellence at Corporate Olympics Chennai 2025

At Syncfusion, we celebrate excellence in every arena, and no one embodies this more than Surabi Potramarai. She is representing Syncfusion this year at the Corporate Olympics Chennai, after making a triumphant return to the track in last year’s event, where she earned multiple medals and inspired us all with her resilience and passion.

The Corporate Olympics Chennai

Events of the Corporate Olympics Chennai are held at top venues around Chennai, including DB Jain College Thoraipakkam and St. Michael’s AcademyAdyar this year, and the Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports UniversityKelambakkam last year. Casagrand Suncity proudly sponsors the event.

The 2024 event brought together over 1,200 athletes from more than 50 leading companies, including TCS, Accenture, and Zoho, and 2025 promises to be even larger. Syncfusion is proudly represented by Surabi Potramarai, celebrating the spirit of corporate athleticism.

A Comeback Fueled by Passion

Participating in my first Corporate Olympics was a nostalgic and empowering experience. It was a personal comeback, a chance to reconnect with a long-lost passion.
– Surabi Potramarai

Before joining Syncfusion, Surabi was a university-level heptathlon medalist, excelling in seven demanding athletic disciplines. After a two-year break from running, the opportunity to compete at the Corporate Olympics reignited her spark. I knew I had to give it a shot,” she said. Her journey shows how pursuing personal passions can enhance professional success, a lesson for anyone balancing work and life.

A day of Gold, Grit, and Glory

On the day of the 2024 championship, Surabi stepped onto the track with determination. Her results were remarkable:

  • 🥇 Gold in 100m Sprint
  • 🥇 Gold in 200m Sprint
  • 🥇 Gold in Javelin Throw
  • 🥈 Silver in 400m Sprint – in a close finish against Zoho

With only the finish line in sight, I gave it everything I had.
– Surabi Potramarai

The sprints showcased her explosive speed, the 400m tested her endurance, and the javelin throw, a discipline she hadn’t practiced in years, highlighted her skill and strength.

Syncfusion’s Support: Empowering Dreams

Syncfusion is committed to supporting employees’ growth, and Surabi’s journey is a testament to this. Our wellness program provided her access to a local gym for training, backed by encouragement from colleagues and leadership. She is looking forward to the upcoming Track & Field events in August with renewed vigor to prove her dedication to self-improvement.

I’m proud to have put Syncfusion on the map among the top-performing companies.
