I’m leaving the corporate world to go all-in as an independent AI engineer, designer, and entrepreneur. After 25 years in software focused on content management, user experience, video production, and graphic design, I’ve never seen a shift as profound as what we’re experiencing with AI. The transformative power of these tools is simply too great to ignore. It’s time to be in the thick of it. I want my feet firmly on the ground during this evolution. Writing code. Building products. Telling stories. Helping others learn. AI isn’t just speeding things up. It’s changing *what’s possible.* When paired with decades of creative and technical experience, AI doesn’t replace craft. It amplifies it. A single idea can now go further, faster, and reach more people than ever before. Starting today, I’m launching a new chapter with three main areas of focus: 1. Understanding and generating content from content – think chatbots, smart assistants, and turning internal knowledge bases into living systems that create new value. 2. Using generative tools to speed up and level up visual production – image and video pipelines that are 10x faster but still guided by human taste, direction, and story. 3. Helping teams modernize their documentation and content management systems – building next-gen platforms that evolve alongside the people who use them. This is a leap, but it’s not a solo journey.
