From July of 2014 through June of 2015, I contributed to 4 clubs in Fairfield County as their Area Governor, helping all 4 clubs achieve Distinguished Club status (and one of the three clubs hadn't achieved this in 3 years; an additional two had never before done so).
In recognition of my contributions toward the transformation of 3 struggling clubs (and one strong one) into 4 very well-organized, successful clubs, I was awarded “Outstanding Area Governor” by the district leadership in late 2015. -

I stayed on with the team in their first 18 months of operation, planning, marketing and executing several successful community events and assisting with procedural matters and filing obligations. Eventually, I resigned my board seat based on concerns I had about the board's regulatory compliance and matters of process. The organization ceased operations approximately 18 months after I cut ties. -

My Gartner (Recommendations, Track, Explore, Activity, Library, etc.)
- Present
In 2016, my focus will be shifting to Gartner's next massive project: an end-to-end redevelopment of each of our primary client-facing services on My Gartner, starting with the home page and recommendation feed, and moving onward to include overhauls of each of the other most commonly used tools on the site. This is an opportunity to advance the technology stack we're employing across all services, and will be a significant advancement of our clients' user experience.

Gartner's Mobile Research App
- Present
Starting shortly after I transitioned from a contract consultant to a full-time associate with Gartner in March of 2013, I have been a regular contributor to our Mobile Research App, assisting with feature enhancements, bug fixes, and the migration from the initial version 1.5 of PhoneGap to the current 6.x version of Cordova over time. I am presently working with the product team and some outside consultants on an end-to-end redevelopment of this platform and its services.

Since then, we've built a team of over two dozen contributors and transitioned the application to a scalable enterprise solution for mobile devices and the web using React JS. Since then, we've built a team of over two dozen contributors and transitioned the application to a scalable enterprise solution for mobile devices and the web using React JS. This project has been a tremendous success thus far and represents the first completely-new product Gartner has developed from scratch for our clients in the last 5 years. I am presently transitioning away from this team to do the "heavy lifting" on our next massive project, entailing an end-to-end redevelopment of our primary client-facing services on My Gartner.

Peer Connect MeetUp Board

Primarily used at Gartner events and one of the first truly "Mode 2" bi-modal IT projects Gartner undertook, I worked with a small team comprised of a business representative, a back-end developer and a designer to build the interactive, animated, highly-engaging Peer Connect MeetUp Board in only 3 weeks from concept to production deployment. I showcased this product at Gartner's Symposium events in Orlando and Barcelona at the end of 2014, and it became "institutionalized" by our events team…

PCMU allows Gartner clients to set up ad-hoc sessions to discuss things most important to them, and is operated on two large touch-screen displays that react to multiple users interacting with them in real time, including 3D transitions and animations.Other creatorsSee project -

My Gartner (2013 end-to-end redesign)

At Gartner, I was hired as a contractor and brought on as a full-time employee within 4 months. Within the next 10 months, I was promoted to the role of Front-end Team Lead, largely due to successes with the redesign of nearly every client-facing tool Gartner offers. This was the first complete overhaul of Gartner's service offerings in roughly a decade. I took point on the overhaul of the client home page and recommendation feed, Explore / Track / My Library (containing most of our research), My Activity (allowing users to review the documents they've read and the events attended), site-wide interactive help treatments, and major revisions to Gartner's document delivery services (both for paid clients and an alternate delivery service for search engines and freely-distributed documents), our internal promotional engine (allowing for overlaid advertisements of other client services within the client site), and our search and user profile experiences, and flagship Magic Quadrant, Hype Cycle, and Interactive Critical Capabilities software solutions.
