New EU-US PNR Agreement on the processing and transfer of Passenger Name Record (PNR) data

The new EU–US Agreement on the processing and transfer of Passenger Name Record (PNR) data, signed at the end of July 2007, is now published in the Official Journal No. L 204 of 4.8.2007, p. 18. The Council decision, approving the signing of the agreement as well as an exchange of letters between the EU and the US is published in the same volume.

This new agreement, intended to run for the next seven years, replaces an earlier text that expired 31 July 2007.
