The Sudan Library

 The Sudan Library � a section of the university of Khartoum library � assumes the responsibilities of the national library in addition to the basic functions as an academic library and its has the biggest collection of publications about the Sudan with the enactment of the work deposit act in 1966, it became a depository to all maerials published in the Sudan and the works of the Sudanese author published outside the Sudan. To make this collection more comprehensive the library acquperiodicals, off-prints and photocopies of articles by non Sudanese authors published in other countries.

The Sudan library catalogue � the classified catalogue of the Sudan Collections 1971 � represents a retrospective national bibliography and its supplements replace the current national bibliography.
