Teclast announces the M series

Taclast has anounced that their upcomming M series will be built on dual core architecture ROCKCHIP RK2706 + WOLFSON WM8987G with enhanced audio and video performance.
The Rockchip RK2706 offers some new and very welcome features, and together with Wolfson WM8987 low power, high quality stereo CODEC we may see some very interesting players beeing released in December.

Meizu Hiding a miniOne Prototype?

Meizu M8 Information Projected

It was reported by Meizu Me that during a meeting with large Chinese distributors of Meizu products, that Meizu showed them a “real” M8. One of the agents also said that they weren’t allowed to actually “contact” the OS. Does this mean that there is a working prototype or not? You decide.

Meizu miniOne M8 to be Displayed at 2008 International CES

According to China Phone news channel the M8 will be displayed at the 2008 CES Show in January next year. Other source reports that only 20% remains from completion of M8 and that the touch screen preference are equal to the one on iPhone.
This brings new hopes the Meizu fans community and we will hopefully be able to see a prototype already in December, the production of the final product is scheduled on February-March next year.
