Andrews Library

Andrews Library (above) was built in 1962.

Andrews Library

Andrews Library houses a collection of more than 850,000 volumes. The Library contains a Writing Center, spaces for more than 500 readers, and a state-of-the-art language library. The Flo K. Gault Library contains Independent Study carrels (complete with Internet access) for every senior in the humanities and social sciences and enhanced spaces for audiovisual materials and services.

Did You Know? - Flo K. Gault, for whom Gault Library is named, graduated in 1948 but completed an Independent Study more than 40 years later, not because she had to, but because she wanted to.

Flo Library

Gault Library, built in 1995, looks striking at night, with its large clock tower brightly lit.

These libraries connect and form the main library on campus. The five floors of the building house several computer labs open to all students, a special collections library, an audio visual library, government documents and much more. A great service offered at the library for all students is the Writing Center. Student tutors, like myself, as well as professional consultants help students prepare papers for classes.
