Dragon Quest

i loved OPT and i grew up in the 80's with a nes and played the first FF when it first came out. well actually i borrowed it from my cousin after he beat it, but still. OPT is a fantastic game and very rarely goes on sale. haven't played part 2 yet but i'm sure it's at least as good if not better than the first. and i think i had over 100 hrs in OPT1 so you'll def get your money's worth out of it.

haven't played DQ3 so i can't comment on that. but i'd put my vote in for the octo combo. but that's if you like 2D turn based RPG's, if you don't then i don't know what to tell ya

I heard theY censored ogre monsters lips for whatever reason and amazoness esque characters outfits for NA localisation. Now, for how fictional and fantasy creatures and costumes can possible be offensive to anyone is a mystery to me. Americans are just weird people.
For instance, I don't see any World War 1/2 depicting Nazis or others games were URSS are depicted as some evil nation with world domination plans being banned in Germany or Russian. A game is a game.
People really should learn how to separate fictional material from real world. That modern trend of politicization video games is precisely the reason why a lot of modern games are garbage and are flopping hard. Keep this ♥♥♥♥ out of fun hobbies, CLOWNS!

If I buy Octo 1 and Octo 2 for a price of a dragon quest 3, I will have to play Octo 1 first and it is below dragon quest, right?
