Most hated enemies?
For me, it's the swarmer and the exploder.

Yeah, they're easy to deal with as they're basically one-hits, but there's usually just a frustrating abundance of them. AoE is really good for taking them out though.

I can't really say that I have a "most hated enemy" as it just varies from mission to mission. Like with Duck and Cover I loathe web spitters, acid spitters and septic spreaders. With swarmageddon I hate swarmers. With exploder infestation I hate exploders. Just depends on what the mission is.

In terms of enemies I dislike facing; probably Bulk Detonators (for being extremely tanky and difficult to work around) and Menaces (due to getting cheap shots and having narrow vulnerability windows).

In terms of enemies I actually dislike the design of; Wardens (I mostly dislike that they infinitely spawn Grunts around them which aggro onto you at a much larger range, effectively making them more dangerous Breeders) and Brundles (Because they're basically just Mactera but with armor and that's not fun or interesting).

I have thorns equipped on literally every loadout because i despise swarmers

Crassus detonators.

I either come away feeling guilty, or exhausted - and the money sure ain't worth the time.

1. the ghoust Bulk Detonato, can't attack it, having to runaway just leaves a sour taste in my mouth :/
2. the nemesis basically 2 shots you with an inescapable grab, it's just unfun to fight

it's gotta be Shellbacks for me, the big ones. they're like if a Trijaw and a Praetorian had a baby, and that baby grew up cheesewheeling. it's dangerous the literal second it spawns in, and it's got the most deceptively wide ranged attack in the game, bar none. yuck
For me its less specific

I just dislike when an enemy does something its not supposed to do

Like, when a praetorian spit, its not supposed to move

However because of game jank, you'll sometimes get a praet that spit and slide toward you

Thankfully, those arn't common

Leecher .... still loving it while you get catched through a wall. :OveliaSweat:
Either Stalker, or Septic Spreaders. Stalker is basically "stop whatever you are doing and deal with this one thing", which is never fun, but thankfully it's rare.
Spetics are the only enemy to attack with big AoE and without line of sight, which is incredibly annoying when you can't pursue them. And they appear way more often than Stalkers.
Swarmers are like death by a thousand cuts. Can get annoying having to whip around to kill one swarmer. then another. then another. Spitters can get annoying because they'll come up and hit you in the back of the head while you're fighting off massive waves. I'm thinking about HAZ 5+ type settings.
Those stingtails are pretty annoying. Also the Glyphid menace with it's rapid fire attacks. Just get a bead on the little bugger and then it hides.
Shellbacks and Stingtails knocking me off a cliff one shotting me from full heath :angry_seagull:

every form of these fat mosquitos

Septic spreader. These guys take priority over EVERYTHING, even things like detonators or oppressors. SEPTIC SPREADERS ARE ANNOYING, DO A LOT OF DAMAGE, AND CAN SNIPE YOU FROM 100 MILES AWAY.

Literally anything relating to the rivals in any way. Industrial sabotages feel like chores and are not fun at all. And all the rival enemies either have large health pools, annoying attacks, or both.
