lol same here, always remember that I do have third weapon way to late :D
Frostbite and Frost Cone to freeze the boss, then pelt the ever living heck out of it with upgraded Echo, activating the elemental combo and staggering her. Ice Sphere to protect from falling boulders and freeze the mobs to take care of them more easily. I am Gnosis 2, level 45 though. I dunno how that compares to y'all.
Edit: I somehow forgot about the demonic weapon when fighting her though I use it often otherwise. What's with that? Haha
It didn't help that I had about 60 coins and a bunch of Witchfire to keep from losing in there too 😅
Damage her untill she jumps on the ceiling, then pull out your Falling Star and dump the mag in ADS mode. The boss gives you nice range for Falling Stars' ADS damage boost, which is nice of her.
Edit:
Make sure you have clear line of sight, the boss can hide behind those hanging spider nests.
The Burning Stake takes care of spider swarm, Frost Cone is nice to interrupt the boss. Any automatic weapon is preferrable for the leftover spiders.
I'm gonna get called a scrub for saying this but man, the fact that not only do you lose stamina when you get hit but you also become slow as a snail when you run out is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane IMO. It means that if you do get hit after dodging another 2 atacks, you're basically dead.
I'm sure peope will say "well it's suppsed to be the Dark Souls of shooters" and that's fair enough, but in Dark souls you can still move at normal speed when you're out of stamina (you just can't roll anymore) and enemy attacks don't drain your stamina. Besides, in Dark souls you can dodge way more often, wherehas in Witchfire even with 111 stamina you can only dodge 3 times, and if you do youy're out of stamina and become immobile so in reality it's more like 2 times.
I guess I just suck but until this boss I thought i was doing pretty well, she feels like a massive dificulty spike.
If you are using frostbite. The only thing you need is Shattered Soul. Depending on your positioning and how boss behaves, you can essentially one shot it. If you don't have prophecies yet, that is something to think about. M3 from frostbite and shattered soul can literally one shot a boss, even on Gnosis VI. At worst you may need another M3 shot or another source of freeze.
Go to boss with full demonic ammo. But NOT with stun gun. Just start mag dump. Then take other guns.
Change Echo, lol. Close range guns vs bosses require gigachad skill. For example I have not got it and so not using it.
Also shotguns not give you really much more dmg in this game. Nice vibes but useless in practice then you can take another gun.
In my opinon, Nemesis or Kochei cleans everything in close range better then shotguns and also give you option go mid range. Kochei has even more dps.
For long range I use Hypnosis (tons of dmg with right time shooting and crits even without element), but if you cannot catch shoot window just take Striga. Striga is also very good. Tons of dmg at long distance AND NO DMG DROP OFF. At all.
As a spell - you can take spell that never allow ammo to end in your gun (20 secs no reload shooting at 3rd mysterium), no element so can take with ANY gun like Nemesis, auto gun, shotgun if you won't change Echo (change it).
Or rotten fiend spell.
Why?
For example, i was fighting boss and calamity at one time. And survived. Because Grenadier from Rotten Fiend was aggro two bosses, normal and calamity, then I was shooting them and USE THAT SPELL AGAIN.
Very useful for distraction and also doing damage.
Light spell - everything you like, it changes almost nothing.
The melee attack recharges your stamina instantly. It something that only gets briefly mentioned in the tutorial, but thats how you are supposed to manage your stamina.
For small enemies it is usually a better idea to bring a spell that can deal with them instead of trying to dodge or sidestep. Ice Dome, Burning Stake, Iron Cross, and Bell work well in those scenarios. Shockwave is a favorite of mine. It takes out the steam of any situation and works vs small stuff and bosses with a tiny cooldown.
