This game kinda sucks...
Ive been supporting this game since it launched on Epic, And then bought a copy of it on steam because I really enjoy the atmosphere and gameplay and was hopeful that this game would turn into something way better, BUT... WTF is the end goal here? Is this just going to be a single player campaign with a weak story line? Once we reach the end then what? Ive lost the vision here. Im not liking what im seeing anymore. The updates are taking way too long and aren't very good. This game is just turning out to be a bare bones bore fest...

I'm not sure I get this? End goal is to kill the witch. That has been pretty plainly stated. We aren't there yet because the game is in early access. As far how storytelling and such goes, it's much in line to how Souls games do it. All of this takes a backseat to you pulling the trigger, which is the draw for this game.
To add to this, the devs did share in their devpost regarding the roadmap that they're wanting to expand on story in a big way. It's just that they aren't there yet and we might not see the full picture until the 1.0 release. So, everything is still pretty much WIP. I've spoken to a few other veteran players and understand there was a big change between the Epic EA and Steam EA versions based on community feedback.

I remember All the From Software games I so enjoy.
But I actually never really know whats happening with the story.
I guess I know how to focus on something strength and pros instead of only focusing white dot in the black board.

You don't like, you just refund it, simple.
Just like I won't go into counter strike and dota forum scream how rubbish is the game.
Not every product design for everyone also

"I bought this game twice and experienced mental difficulties in figuring out I don't like the game, and expected an early access title to be complete in less than 2 years." is basically what you said.

Edit: Might be more suitable to change your name to Thick RIck

Still a mid game at best. Steam numbers don't usually lie. Most people aren't interested in mediocre half baked games.. And before anyone tries to compare this to souls games just stop... This isn't even close...
Dude, you got over 100 hrs in New World and Call of Duty xD
I rather prefer something with no story but very cool and, lets say ''quake-like'', as painkiller was. I got this game and, tbh, this game is a disappointment. Very lame stuff, borderlands with depression? This is not a serious game.

Where do you get Borderlands? Is the avatar an admission that you are clown farming?

In here talking about a half baked game and you agreed to by an EA title that’s still in development. Makes you look like a clown. Especially the one talking about “Borderlands on depression”, making comparisons like a console player.
Buys two copies of a game they think sucks. You're the problem here, not the game. Also, if you read the roadmap, you'd know their vision with respect to a story.
Never not going to be funny seeing weirdos that keep buying early access games and then getting mad they don't turn out the way their arm-chair developer brains thought they would.

Maybe get some better impulse control, or get comfortable with taking an occasional L when buying incomplete games? Nah, lets blame everyone else for forcing you to buy a game you didn't like from multiple stores.
For me, it's all about the gameplay. Witchfire has good gameplay. If I wanted a good story, I would go read a book. Gameplay > Story

for someone who spent over a thousand hours on runescape you'd think you would already be accepting of mid games with a bare bones storyline and no end goal
You just asked the most general question ever; in a nutshell "After I finish the game what do I do?" you touch grass then replay the game or play something else. How is that different from any other game? There are no stupid questions, but there are stupid complaints.
Nobody even has any good arguments here. Defending something because you think its good doesn't make it good. This game in the general public eye would be negative... Stop defending mediocre games just because you enjoy them...
