You can literally get algorithm trapped in this game. I've seen general/champion players who completely stomp people in indestructible, yet they are literally stuck because the algorithm is trying to maintain balance.
You can think whatever but the game is dying.
What annoys me is that it means all the ranks are fake, so we don't actually know who the real best players are. Add to this, they also allow premades with solos.
Engagement Optimized Matchmaking (EOMM):
A controversial practice used by some companies where matchmaking or other hidden systems aim to keep players emotionally engaged, not necessarily fairly matched.
The reason they do this is because they're a business before a fair competition. They'd rather try and retain more players than have even competition.
You must be either low IQ or new to gaming if you're unaware of this practice.
You can very easily see this is the case when you check the stats of your team and the enemy team. You'll always find there is either a rank imbalance, a winrate imbalance, etc. All these big games do this BS now, and it is extremely obvious it is there when you get that feeling like you're literally doing everything on your team game after game after game. You'll literally feel like you're carrying the entire team. It is an unmistakable feeling that is the signature of EOMM.
