how about achievement? remember theres couple missable achievement in OT1 where if we start with some character, we wont get those achievement unless we start a new playthrough with other charcter

i have no idea, played this on xbox, i believe there no such a thing, but maybe i am wrong

You can get all the achievements in a single playthrough with nothing missable. There's a few inconsequential missables (mostly treasure chests with the only thing of particular note being IIRC a Dark reducing accessory) but you don't need any of it for an achievement.

Of note is also that the 'travel banters' which requires you to have a specific character in the party during any given points in the chapters get added to the Journal even if you missed or ignored it, so you don't need to worry about swapping around characters to make sure you get to see them all.

There IS one instance of missable content but you'll be sufficiently warned about it.

But otherwise worst you can do with 'skipping some steps' is make earlier bosses a lot easier (but that should be obvious :P).
