Hello Deanna,

When can I expect an updated course for DO480? Right now we are using 2.4 version but the current version is 2.11. There are major changes in 2.11 compared to 2.4.

Regards,
IT-Guy

Hi there, I'm seeying some issue in the lab enviroment of the course because the certificate for the s3 endpoint has expired. I don't know if the expiration date is set in the automation to 20250701, or if that will be fixed automatically. I have try to delete the lab and start again just to ensure if a fresh deployment generate new certs, but the issue persist. Please can something review it ?

@dan13lc sounds like something that needs a closer look on the backend. I’d recommend reaching out to Support from the Learning Plaform Interface so they can investigate the S3 certificate issue directly. If you already tried redeploying and it persists, it’s likely not something that can be fixed on the user side.

I have seeying that it is not only the s3 endpoit, also the idm certificate. It just expiered July 2nd 2025. I thing the person who automate this thougth that this course will be in this version for only 2 years
Well basically I can not run the labs for all the chapters related with Quay

BTW, the current version of ACM is 2.13 and the course and exam version is 2.4, this should be updated.

Hi

I found an issue with the lab and logged a support ticket but I am yet to receive feedback. I cant use the lab environment for any of the labs. Support ticket - RHT2420156
I have also seen a banner on the course that states the content is regarded as legacy. When I contact support for this they stated that they dont knwo when the new content will be available and because I need the information to prepare for my exam, they suggested I log a support tick on this url https://rhtapps.redhat.com/comments, which I did but I have not received any feedback for any of my issues in order to continue using the content of the course.

@ReaganG the DO480 course content is being updated and split into two new, focused courses and each packed with enhanced content.

The first course, DO430 – Securing Kubernetes Clusters with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security, is already available and ready for you to explore.

The second course, DO432 – Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes, will be available starting August 7th.

Since DO480 is based on legacy technology, we recommend transitioning to DO430 and DO432 for the most up-to-date and relevant training.

In the meantime, you can already start learning from the four available lessons from the upcoming DO432 course:

  • Managing Clusters by Using Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes

  • Installing Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes

  • Enabling and Customizing the Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes Observability Stack

  • Managing the Multicluster Application Lifecycle by Using GitOps Practices and Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes
