How to uninstall games

    Open the EA app and log in.

    Choose the game you want to uninstall.

    Select Manage.
  4. 4
    Choose Uninstall from the dropdown.

    If prompted, select Yes to confirm that you want to uninstall the game.
If you can’t uninstall your game through the EA app, use these steps instead.

    Open the Control Panel by searching for it in the Start menu.

    Find the Programs section and select Uninstall a program under Programs and Features.

    Right-click on the game you want to uninstall, then choose Uninstall.
  4. 4
    A pop-up will appear. Select Uninstall. 

How to uninstall downloadable content (DLC)

If you want to uninstall DLC, like Sims Expansion Packs:

    Make sure you have automatic updates turned off in the EA app. 
    • Turn off automatic updates in your Settings  by selecting Application and toggling the Application updates button to off.

    Open the game’s folder on your Mac device. If using default settings, this is usually found by going to Applications and opening the EA Games folder.

    Find the DLC folder you want to uninstall. Select the folder, right-click it, and choose Move to Trash.

    Open the EA app. 
  5. 5
    Select the three-dot menu in the top-right of your game tile and select Repair.  

How to uninstall the EA app

If you uninstall the EA app, you won’t be able to play any games or use any extra content that you’ve downloaded until you reinstall it. You also risk removing files that let us know whether your games have the latest patch content and more.
When you redownload the EA app and log in, it’ll try to find any games you installed.

If something’s missing, try uninstalling your game from your device, then reinstalling through the EA app.

    Right-click on the EA app, then choose Uninstall.
