This is the AI Agent Audit Process every business should run to “agentify their workflow” with Microsoft Copilot Studio. We are officially entering the era of AI agents. But here’s the million dollar question… How do you know which agents to build? If you want to save time…this is the AI Agent Audit Process every business should go through. Step 1 is to Map Your Workflow. First, list out every task you do in a typical week. For me, as an entrepreneur and creator, I’ve got these 15 tasks that I do every single week. Step 2 is Prioritization. Estimate how many hours you spend on each task. And then rank them from most time consuming to least. For me, the number one thing I spend time on every week is idea research for videos. Now here’s where it gets fun… This is when your to-do list turns into a team of tireless AI agents. But here’s the thing…these aren’t just rule-following bots. Agents built with Copilot Studio can reason, plan, and adapt. They’re designed to handle complexity and change – way beyond what traditional automation can do. Now you’re gonna go to Microsoft Copilot Studio to build an agent – starting from the top of your list. I’m starting with a Video Researcher Agent. Now agents are just digital assistants that do tasks for you. And to build one in Copilot Studio, you only need 3 things… Instructions, knowledge, and triggers. Instructions are the most important…these are the steps the agent needs to follow to execute on your task. And the good news is… you already have those, because you follow instructions when you complete the task manually every single week. Knowledge is the context your agent needs. That could be documents, links, or tools you already use. For my research agent, I’m uploading docs and pointing to specific websites. And this is a collaborative process where there’s some trial and error, which is totally normal. And lastly, triggers tell the agent when to run. This could be recurring like every Monday at 8AM or based on some action, “a new lead fills out a form”...You decide. And that’s it! Map your tasks. Prioritize them. Build agents with instructions, knowledge and triggers. This whole workflow is the audit process for “becoming agentic.” Now in the next video, I’m going to use Microsoft Copilot Studio to actually build out the top agent on my list so you can see how it works in practice. Follow Kane K. to see how I do it. #ai #artificialintelligence #tech #technology #future #aiagent #futuretech #techtok #business #CopilotStudio #PowerPlatform Microsoft Copilot Microsoft 365
