A sketch of a single flower: a native bloom from Taichung City, Prunus campanulata. The idea was simple: Create a mass of stylized blossoms, suspended within a geometric metal structure. We took that vision and shaped it in glass. 970 hand-blown flowers, each one unique. Three shades of pink, softly glowing from within after dark. A tension emerges, organic forms caught in a metal grid, when delicate meets defined.

Softly Speaking Skylight A former royal palace, set above the Atlantic. A hotel that honors both memory and modernity. And glass that finds its place within both. At Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr, Lasvit was invited to create three site-specific installations. Each piece speaks to a different atmosphere within the hotel, drawing from light, landscape, and architectural rhythm. In the atrium lobby, a transparent glass installation follows the curvature of the skylight above. Formed from minimalist handblown glass rods, this bespoke lighting piece interacts with daylight rather than dominating it, offering weightlessness and calm that shifts when the sun moves through this timeless glass design.

Glass That Belongs: A Palace by the Sea A former royal palace, set above the Atlantic. Geometry in Motion Along a grand staircase, an anamorphic sculpture combines geometric metal frames with organic handblown glass forms. Its pattern comes into focus only from specific angles, inviting movement. The structured framework creates beautiful contrast with the flowing glass elements within.

Winch Design, together with Technogym, brought together the worlds of yachting, aviation, and architecture for a rooftop Row Off in support of the Blue Marine Foundation. Cookson Adventures claimed victory, and Lasvit marked the moment with a trophy designed to be remembered. The piece draws inspiration from a single drop of water becoming a river, at first subtle, yet ultimately powerful. Like an idea born as a spark that goes on to reshape the world. ——— Design by Jakub Maglay

Clouds In one of the hotel’s key function spaces, we suspended a formation of semi-translucent glass forms inspired by the shifting sky above the Rabat coastline. A mirrored ceiling expands the work into its own horizon, doubling the light, space, and sense of weightlessness. The result is a moment held mid-air. Ephemeral, calm, and in motion.

Two lights from our Constellation collection are featured in the study by Staffan Tollgard within WOW!House 2025. Inspired by celestial patterns, these sculptural pieces are designed to make an impact whether illuminated or not. Their presence supports Tollgard’s vision of functional sculpture, where every element is both purposeful and poetic. Thank you to Staffan, Tollgard Studio and the entire team who brought this thoughtful space to life! On view at Chelsea Design Centre until 3 July. We hope you’ll have a chance to experience it.
