Managing multiple signature requests for the same document can be tedious and time-consuming. Bulk links in BoldSign simplify this process by allowing you to create a single, reusable URL that multiple recipients can use to sign a document independently. By using templates, you can ensure consistency in roles, form fields, and settings, while reducing your workload.
Whether you’re handling rental agreements, HR paperwork, or legal documentation, the ability to merge multiple templates into one bulk link makes this feature great for efficiency and organization. In this blog, we’ll guide you through the steps to and benefits of streamlining your document signing process using bulk links in BoldSign.
Create Bulk Links from Templates
Using templates in BoldSign allows you to create bulk links efficiently, saving you time.
Follow these steps to create a bulk link using one or multiple templates:
Log in to your BoldSign account.

Navigate to the Templates menu and click All Templates. A list of all created and shared templates will appear. Ensure you have at least one template ready to proceed.

You can create a bulk link using a single template or multiple templates:
- To create a bulk link from a single template, identify and select the template you want to use. Hover over it, click the context menu, and choose Create bulk link.
- To create a bulk link from multiple templates, select the required templates, click Merge & Use, and select Create bulk link. The templates will be merged to create a single signing link.

After selecting the Create bulk link option, you’ll be navigated to the Prepare Bulk Link page. The uploaded templates will appear in the Add Files section. Roles predefined in the templates will populate automatically in the Role section.
If templates are assigned the same role, it will be set as the Initiator Role (editable). For multiple roles, the first template’s role becomes the Initiator Role, with others assigned as additional recipient roles.
The Add CC section will auto-populate with any CC recipients defined in the templates. You can edit, add, or remove these recipients as needed.

If you started the bulk link creation process from scratch, you can still add and merge templates in this page by clicking Browse Template in the Add File(s) section.

Provide a bulk link title, welcome message, and acknowledgment message in their respective fields. Review all sections and click Next to proceed to the Configure fields page.

On the Configure fields page, all form fields from the templates will display with their settings. You can add, remove, or modify these fields if needed. Once done with the customization, click Create Bulk Link.

Once the bulk link is created, you’ll receive a shareable URL, which can be distributed to signers for easy access.
